Program of tour
Day 1 - Mestia We start picking up guests at 06:30 and at 07:00 leave the city. On the way we join a group that’s coming from Kutaisi and continue tour together. The first stop is Enguri water dam. After visiting dam we are heading to Mestia. On the way we stop at local restaurant for lunch. Also, we stop several times for taking pictures and to enjoy with waterfalls and amazing views on Caucasus mountain range. We arrive in Mestia by 14:00. Firstly, we visit Hatsvali ski resort. Cable way goes from 1500 to 2300 m altitude. From the top there is amazing view on Ushba (4700-4710m) and Tetnuldi (4850m). Next stop is Margiani family fighting tower and house-museum and that was built in 14th century. Tour finishes at Credo Bank by 16:30. Overnight in Mestia Day 2 – Adishi At 9 a.m. we start picking up guests from hotels in Mestia. Once everyone is in the vehicle we are heading to Zhabeshi. We start trekking from Zhabeshi and the first two hours are hiking uphill and reach 2500 m altitude. The day finishes in Adishi. Overnight in Adishi Day 3 – Kala At 9 a.m. we already are on the route. On the way we need to cross river that is coming from Adishi glacier and is freezing, though, manageable to cross. If lever of water is too high we rent horses of locals for crossing the river. On the way we walk through village Khalde that was destroyed by Russian army in 1876. On this day we take a break in village Kala. Overnight in Kala Day 4 – Ushguli The longest day of tour - We start at 8 a.m. and heading to Ushguli. By noon we already are in Ushguli. Here guests have free time to explore village and to have some sneaks. By 15:00 we meet with another group of our company and all together return to Mestia. In Mestia we change the vehicle and go to Kutaisi. Guests are dropped off at hotels by 22:00. Overnight in Kutaisi Day 5 – Downhill & Rafting Tour starts at 06:30 by picking up guests from hotels in Kutaisi. The first stop is in Surami where we taste Georgian sweet bread “Nazuki”. They show us how it’s made and give us some to test. In Bakuriani we take downhill bike trek to Borjomi. In Borjomi we have lunch break at local winery where you can taste wine, but shouldn’t drink, because next step is rafting on river Mtkvari. After the lunch we ride to rafting base where instructor is waiting for us. He gives us instructions and take 10 km rafting from Chitakhevi to Likani. Once the last drop of energy is used up we go back to home. Guests are dropped off at hotels by 22:00. Overnight in Kutaisi Day 6 – Canyons & Cave Tour starts at 10:00 from our office in Kutaisi. The first stop is Prometheus cave that is 1,8 km long and is located 40 meters below sea level. In the cave there is a hall of love where people even get married. Here you can enjoy with underground boating. It’s cool, isn’t? :) Meanwhile it’s time for lunch. Our lunch break is at local restaurant Our Garden where is made the most delicious Georgian food in neighborhood. After delicious lunch we are heading to Martvili canyon. Here we take a boat tour through the canyon and explore depth of it along waterfalls. The final attraction on tour is Okatse canyon. This is the deepest canyon in Georgia with hanged bridges and sky walks. There are 2 ways to achieve bridge: trekking on 3 km route and taking off-roading taxi. Off-roading is pretty impressive experience. Finally, when we are exhausted and full with emotions we go back to Kutaisi. Here we change vehicle and go to Batumi. Guests are dropped off at hotels by 23:00. Overnight in Batumi Price
